The Boy with a Patchwork Heart had a big black heart covered with loneliness and fulfilled with sadness.
Why he got this heart of his is for some other time and some other story...it doesn't fit in this one!
The Boy with a Patchwork Heart realized one day that whenever he helped another being, in this really selfless and caring way, he could sew a colorfull patch on a piece of the big black heart of his... whenever he found a way to trust people, help them find happiness and truly feel for others forgeting his weaknesses, he could ad another colorfull patch of joy to the broken heart he possessed. This way he could believe that goodness was still out there for him too!!!
But life has this strange way of proving kindness wrong, and the Boy with a Patchwork Heart also realized, one day, that you can't be too naive when giving your trust, yourself and your sacrifice...
Patchwork is beautifull but if it's not well sewn it can just tear... the darkness would slowly take over, inside and out! And we sadly know that it is not easy to find someone who will follow you into the dark...
Boy with a Patchwork Heart, just be carefull!
Don't fear too much... but be cautious when giving all your self away! We want the colorfull patchwork to last...
